Routine obstetric care
- Ultrasound done on 1st exam, all routine lab testing as well as
extensive antenatal screening (this is the choice of the patient) is
done in house - every 4 weeks through approximately 24 weeks, 3
weeks until 30, 2 weeks until 36, then each week until delivery
High risk obstetric care
- Preterm labor
- Incompetent cervix
- Preexisting medical problems such as hypertension & diabetes,
history of coagulation defects, blood clots
In-office 2D & 4D ultrasound
- Laparoscopy with Hysterectomy
The use of a laparoscopy can eliminate, in almost every case the
need for an abdominal hysterectomy. If you require the surgery,
eliminating the need for an abdominal incision significantly
increases recovery & return to work ability.
